| Curriculum |
|
Woodland offers a traditional secular curriculum. Textbooks are selected from the list approved by the Virginia Department of Education. The curriculum is established by the Academy and uses the published SOL's as a reference in establishing minimum expectations. SOL testing is not part of the school's curriculum. Stanford 9 standardized tests are currently the independent instrument used to monitor student progress in grades 1 - 8. The Metropolitan Achievement test is administered to evaluate Kindergarten progress. |
